Orientation at Cedar Primary School

On Saturday morning, I went to Cedar Primary School for orientation. I was brought into class 1D to be with my new classmates. The teachers showed us about the school then we went back to the classroom. Then she gave us each a chocolate bun then after we waited for our parents to pick us up. After that Sophia, Athena, Elizabeth and I went to look at the fish and tortoise. We fed them some bread.

Then we went to buy my school PE attire and school uniform. After that we went to play at the playground. There was monkey bars, chin up bar and sand pit. Then my mommy bought the textbooks for me and then we went to our favorite noodle shop for lunch.

I like my new school because it is such a wonderful place and I like the bridge that is over a pond as I can see fish and tortoise. I am also happy that I have new friends and old friends. Next year, my daddy will be fetching 4 children to Cedar Primary and 2 to Ascension kindergarten. Auntie Tricia will send us home after school.

Fantastic Mr Fox

Last Friday my parents brought my sister and I to Bishan Junction 8 to watch 'Fantastic Mr Fox'.
The show is about how a fox stole chicken, turkey and apple cider from 3 farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean. They were cross and they think of a plan to stop Fantastic Mr Fox. They waited outside the bushes and when Mr Fox came out at night, they shot at him but only his tail came off. Then they got some tractors to dig into the hole and Mr Fox started to dig down and down and down. There was no way out for him and they were very hungry. Then Mr Fox thought of a plan, ie, to dig underneath to Boggis, Bunce and Bean's farm.

I enjoyed the show very much because the fox was very fantastic as he was cleverer than the farmers.

My K2 Graduation Ceremony

Last Thursday, I had my graduation concert in the school hall. When I reached school, I went into the N2 Chinese room to wait for the teachers to bring us for the Speech. All the children were very excited but not nervous because they were very happy that they were graduating.

When it was our turn to go on stage, the curtains were closed and we took up our positions. I had fun being the narrator. I felt happy to see my daddy and mummy and sister amongst the audience. Halfway through the play, Samuel forgot his lines. Everybody laughed and laughed. They enjoyed the play very much. The play is about a mouse who told the foxes and owls and snakes and eagles that he was having a feast with a gruffalo who has 'terrible eyes, terrible nose, terrible teeth in his terrible mouth. He laughed at the animals when they ran away. Later he really met with a gruffalo. The gruffalo wanted to eat him but the mouse prayed to God and at the end, he said that his stomach was growling and he told the gruffalo that his favorite food was Gruffalo Crumble. The gruffalo believed him because all the animals was afraid of the mouse. After we finished, we bowed and went back into the N2 Chinese room.

Later we had to wear our gown and went on stage again to shake hands with Mrs Quek and receive our certificate. After that we went back to change into our own clothes and then went back on stage to sing 'Proud of You' in Mandarin and English. After that we sang 'Auld Lang Sye'.

We then took a lot of pictures with our friends outside the hall. Then Meryl and I sat in Auntie Tricia's car and we ( Meryl, Elizabeth, Emma, Eleanor) went to Pizza Hut in Heartland Mall. Elliot and his brother, Aloysius and his sister and Athena were also there. We had a great time playing and eating. Before we left we saw Ms Chuan, Ms Gasper, Mrs Ho and Mrs Ong and we too some pictures together. I had a wonderful time.

How I earned $100

Yesterday morning, I woke up at 9am, showered, drank my fruit juice then Daddy fetched my mummy and I to NUH Life Sciences Centre to join in a research. I played computer games for about an hour. Then I ate a packet of mamee noodles then I continued playing the games. After that I was asked to watch a video about how they take pictures of the brain. Then I changed into a space suit and went into a 'space machine' that was supposed to take images of my brain.

First they put a pair of ear plug into my ears, then they asked me to lie down and covered me with a blanket. After that they strapped me up and I went into the machine. It was very loud. I was not comfortable. I was not supposed to move otherwise the picture will be blur. I tried my best and at one point I fell asleep. At the last part, my nose was itchy and I wanted to sneeze. They took me out and helped me wipe my nose. After that my mummy took some pictures of me and I received $100.

After that we took a shuttle bus to Dover MRT and we went to Bugis to have lunch. I ate macaroni at the food court. Then we went to BHG to buy the toys. I decided to save $50 and spend the rest on toys for myself and my sister. I promised to buy her a a toy set. In the end, I chose 2 Ben Ten toys for myself, Cannon Bolt and Ben Mummy. I bought Meryl 2 sets of Sylvanian Families for her birthday. After that we took the MRT home. I felt very happy.

Ye ye house-moving and BBQ

This morning I woke up at 8.30 and we quickly changed to go Ye ye's place because he was shifting to Ta gu's house today. We met Jon Jon there. Then we went to the place first and I had my breakfast and played sword fighting with Meryl.

After that I played rolling oranges on the floor with Meryl and daddy. Then I was bored and Daddy let me watched TV while they packed the house. I watched tv non-stop for 5 hours. We had pizza for lunch. After that we went home and Meryl and I slept in the car.

Then we went for a swim. The water was very cold. After that we met with Asher and his family for BBQ. Jonathon and his family joined us later. We had noodles, sausages, chicken wings and satay. The we played at the playground for a while and then we played with our mother's handphones.

After the BBQ, we went to Auntie Cleo's house and Auntie Alicia's house. We had fun playing with the toys. Then we went home and I asked my mother to help me blog this.

Ezra's Birthday Party

Yesterday we went to Mainland Tropical Fishfarm for Ezra's Birthday party. First, we put tattoos on our arms. I had a moon and a star. Next Auntie Adeline gave us fishfood to feed the fish. One fish was very large and it was called Arapaima. Then she gave us a bucket and a net to catch fish from the drain. I was in the 2nd place of the fishing and I caught about 20 over fish. Then we went to the office to tie it up in a plastic bag with oxygen. After that we went back and did a drawing of 'Our day at the Fishfarm'. I drew a large fish, 2 crabs, 1 prawn, 2 jellyfish and 1 stingray. Then I excahnged my drawing for a goodie bag. There was a Ben Ten notebook, a rummycube, some marshmallows and Wang Wang biscuits. Then I had my dinner with Sophia and Aloysius and Zhu Zhen Yang. After dinner, I had ice-cream and then we played sword fighting with our balloons.

We fought the big boys by hitting them. The little boys won the big boys. Then Ernest grabbed Ezra by his neck and took his sword. Ezra fell to the ground and started crying. Then we went to chase Ernest and made Ernest angry. Then we fought again with our balloons. After that we went to play on the swing. we saw many chickens in a cage with its mother hen hiding. After that we went to Giant to do our grocery shopping.

That night, my daddy slept with us and we talked about songs. I sang 'Proud of you' and Mei mei copied me and I got angry and threw the pillow at her.

An Interesting Saturday Morning

Morning time I woke up at 7am and I saw my daddy preparing to go fishing. I wanted to go but my mummy said that I needed to sleep or else I cannot go for Ezra's birthday. I continued sleeping until 9am then I helped my mummy packed the study table then ate my breakfast. I was whining to watch Ironman but my mummy said no so I continued whining until I decided to play 'Snakes and Ladders'. After "Snakes and Ladders' we played Ludo. We stopped halfway during the Ludo and went swimming.

At the swimming pool, I was a swimming coach teaching my mei mei how to swim.I taught her breaststroke then freestyle. She had to swim from one point to the other and I followed her under the water. When I reached there I lift up my hand and mei mei will grab my hand so that she will not drown. In the pool I saw a centipede then we decided to go back. On the way back, we played for a while at the playground.

After we showered, I helped my mummy to wrap Ezra's birthday present. Then we walked to the market to have our lunch. Meryl had mee pok and I had chicken rice. Then my daddy picked us up and we came back home to get ready.

I am excited to go to Ezra's birthday because I love birthday parties. We will be going to Mainland Tropical Fishfarm to have fun catching fish.

Evening out with my daddy

I woke up at 7.55 and I ate pau for breakfast then I showered by myself. I packed my school bag and did my school work then we went to school. We went to the hall and pulled out the tape from the floor then we had our assembly. After that we went back to our class to do our work then we went for Chinese lesson in the Chinese room. Then we went to the English room before we had our lunch of porridge. After lunch I played 'Army' with Branson and Clement. After that we went to the Music room and Reet gave everyone stickers. Then we went to K1 Music room to wait for our parents to pick us up. My daddy came to pick us up today because it was raining.

After we went home, we had our snack and Yakult then we took our nap. After we woke up, we had sushi for our dinner then we went downstairs for a swim. It was fun although it was drizzling. After that we went back and we went to Compasspoint to cut my hair. We went to buy toys and I bought a Yoyo because I promise daddy that I will do my Abacus by Friday. Meryl bought a Pony set and she must learn to read 10 words everyday. I was very happy to have a super Yoyo at last. Then we went to our old house to collect our letters.

My first entry

This morning I woke up at about 7.30. I ate breakfast then I disturbed my daddy by shouting and he punished me by asking me to do 50 push-ups and 30 leg raise.After that I showered by myself and I did some work then my daddy let me watch TV until 10am. Then my sister and I took bus no 31 to school. I was the 1st one to arrive.

We took temperature and then went into the assembly hall. Then after that we went to our classes and we practiced our graduation item at the assembly hall. I did a good job singing the song 'Proud of you'. Then we went up again to have our lunch. After that we had our computer lesson. After we finished we went back to the music room and we prayed and sang the Goodbye song.

Tita Jo came to fetch us and we took a bus home. At home we ate some biscuits, rinse ourselves and then took our afternoon nap. After we woke up, Amah let me watch '101 Dalmations' . We ate our dinner very slowly and our mother scolded us when she came back from work. After we finished our dinner, she let us watch 'Nemo'. I learnt that I need to listen and obey my parents otherwise we may get into trouble.

Then my mother helped me to set up my own blog called 'Stupendous Kyle' so that I can record my thoughts and things that are happening in my life.
