Good Progress Award

5/12/2012 Yesterday at 8.00pm, my family and I walked to St George to receive a Good Progress Award. When I reached there, I met Dong Han, a friend of mine there. First I registered at the registration counter then I went to talk to Dong Han. DH said he got a Good Progress Award too! We also talked about games and toys. Finally it was time to receive it. DH and I bet who would go up first. I got up first and I felt very happy. Inside the certificate was a DBS voucher. I went to collect our photo to remember this memorable day.

Equestrian for a day@Turf City

27/12/2012 Today was a special day. My mother was sending my sister and I to Turf Club horse riding centre to have a horse riding lesson. First we played with a Persian cat. The Persian cat was fluffy, fat and will always lie down when I touch it. Soon everybody arrived and we went to the training grounds. On the grounds, there were two horses. One was called Annabelle and the other was called Snowy. They were both female horses. Each one of us got to ride on the horse. The ride was long and bumpy but fun. Next we went to take a water break. Then we went to the stables to see the horses. The teacher taught us about 2 beddings. Bedding 1 s paper bedding. Bedding 2 was wood shavings. Then we went to the saddle room. The teacher showed us the saddle and the reins. After that the teacher took us to a cold room containing 2 horses. The teacher told us that horses sweat so they have to be in a cold room. Next we went to feed the horses. The horses ate carrots, wheat, grass, pellets and chors. We feed them a carrot each. Finally it was time to go. I felt happy. I wish to go again.

Staycation@Mandarin Hotel

23/12/2012 Last Sunday, my parents brought my sister and I to a hotel stay. On that day, we had tennis lessons for 2 hours. After that we went home to pack our things, then we check into the hotel. Next we went to the room to take our afternoon nap. The we went to shower in our favorite bathtub. After that we went to Glutton BAy for dinner. Second, we went to Marina Square to watch 'Wreck it Ralph'. The show is about a bad guy named Ralph who wrecks things in the game 'Fix-it-Felix'. ON their 30th anniversary, Ralph wants to be a good guy, so he went to another game to earn a medal to become good. In the end he is still bad because he is now what he is supposed to be. After that we went to the hotel to sleep. Next day we ate Madonald's for breakfast and played Uno. Then we checked out. I wishe to go again.

Swim Camp@Keppel Club

Date unknown Last Monday, I had a camp at Keppel Club. I woke up at 7am. I needed 2 extra set of shorts and pants, money and a towel. On that day I was feeling very grouchy. When we were on the way there, I asked my father to turn back. He said 'No' and continued driving. Because we argued so much and wasted so much time, we arrived late. My father allowed me to eat chewing gums and told me to share it with my friends. I waited and waited and waited but still they did not come. A few minutes later, I saw them coming back. Soon I explained why I came late. Then we went swimming. We swam for 2 hours then we went to Uncle CK shop to rest. After resting, Uncle CK asked whether we wanted noodles or rice. I said I wanted noodles. Then we went to sleep. After sleeping, we played Uno for a while then we went to swim for 2 hours. Halfway it started to rain. We went to do warm-up. At 6 I walked to PSA club to see daddy play badminton. After badminton we went home to have dinner.

The Hobbit

Date Unknown Yesterday, my mother brought me and my sister to watch 'The Hobbit'. A hobbit has sharp ears, eyes and seldom wear shoes. This story is about how the hobbit, Bilbo Baggins found a ring that can make you invisible. The ring can also make youwant power. The main characters are Bilbo Baggins the hobbit, Thorin, the dwarf king and Gandalf the Grey wizard. I like the hobbit because he is brave and his sword is awesome. I dislike Golem, the human. He was stuck in the cave since he was a child. He has no hair and was very skinny. He was also quite mad. I felt happy after the show. I wish my mother can bring me to watch 'Ironman3' next year.

Diary entry : 3rd December 2012

Day One@Sakamoto Last Monday, I went for Sakamoto Math. Sakamoto Math is a method invented by a Japanese man called Mr Sakamoto. When I joined the class, there were four people including me in the class. First the teacher introduced herself as Teacher Chloe. After introducing ourselves, we did sums. The sums were hard and hadn't been taught in school but the teacher was kind and helpful. Eventually I managed to do the sums without any difficulty. Tomorrow there's another class, I a really looking forward to it and our teacher told us that another 2 students would be joining our class. Day 2@Sakamoto On Day One, my mother taught me how to go there. First I must get on a bus ending with three or seven to Potong Pasir MRT. Then I have to take the train from Potong Pasir and alight at hougang. When I alighted, I must cut through Hougang Mall, cross the road and go to Block 423. when I reached there, one of the new students was my classmate in school!Her name was Chloe too! I was very surprised to see her there, she was surprised too. The we did a few sums and went back home. I was very happy. Day 3@ Sakamoto Next Day, I left at 6.30pm. I quickly went there and handed up my homework. The I waited for everybody to come then started doing sums. After the sums, the teacher said that she would be throwing a party tomorrow then we went home. I could not wait for tomorrow. Day4@Sakamoto Today whe I reached there, I handed up my homework and teacher gave me a 'Wang Wang".I happily opened the packet and started to eat then we ate chocolates. The chocolate was so nice. We did a few more sums then went back. I was very happy now every Saturday I need to go attend lessons. Footnote : You gave up after less than a month and we had to withdraw from the program fortunately without any penalty. The reason you gave was that it was tiring and a lot of work was given.

3 days ago, my father was leaving to Vietnam to attend his friend's wedding, play golf and talk about business. on that day my father hasn't packed anything but his golfbag. Yup, you guessed it...he likes golf more than anything. When we reached the airport, we decided to eat Pizza Hut. My mother called our friend Zachary to join us. I ate Hawaiian pizza ad drank Pepsi Cola. When I almost finished, my father spotted his friend in the crowd. Before he left he gave me a big hug and said goodbye. I went to push Zach and my sister on the trolley. We went to the Angry Bird playground to play. There was a ball pool, a slide, angry birds games and a trampoline. I kept on jumping on the trampoline. until I was sweating like a pig. Later when we were going to Fairprice, I spotted a slide. I asked my mother whether we could play while she went shopping. She said yes. You have to lean down and slide down the slide. I had a memorable day at the airport. I wish to go there again. * Glad you enjoyed the outing. You were a great big brother to the younger kids that day. Keep up the good job!
